Worldbuilding through design.
Pretty is easy.
Powerful takes a system.
Worldmark House digs into the story itself. The eras, the lands, the history, the geography, the exact ache your world runs on. Every mark, every palette, every typographic choice is pulled from that research. We don't do templates. We don't do trends.
This is what signals trope and tone before a single page is read. It's what tells a stranger, on sight, this world is for her. Systems like this work as a beacon: they get you found and followed by the right reader. Worldmark House works in a visual language readers already understand. One we happen to speak fluently too.

Everything you need to create covers, social graphics, merchandise, marketing materials, subscription pages, and anything else your world demands — quickly, on-brand, and without starting from scratch every time. That’s:
A Worldmark lock-up of your series title, and its variants
A typography system — primary and secondary fonts, with guidance on how to use and pair them
A colour palette with all relevant codes
Graphic and atmospheric direction for illustrative and photographic elements
A sourced graphics library containing those elements
Guidelines on how to use your Compendium
An organized asset library with everything above, in every format you need for print and digital
Your world will eventually need to live beyond the page. The Compendium is what makes that possible, everywhere it goes.

Once we've aligned on fit and your studio window is reserved, we kick things off with a deep dive into your world: its era, atmosphere, and emotional truth. From there, the studio week begins. You'll receive a moodboard to sign off on before design starts, a full presentation midweek for feedback, and your completed Series Compendium by the end of the week. Every step includes your input so nothing gets built in the dark.
-
Yes, and this is something we take seriously. Every image, texture, and graphic element included in your Series Compendium is sourced with commercial licensing in mind. You'll receive documentation outlining the usage rights for each asset so you always know exactly what you're covered for.
Fonts are handled slightly differently. Some typefaces require individual commercial licenses that need to be purchased directly by the author, particularly for use on book covers that will be sold at volume. Where this applies, I'll flag it clearly and point you to exactly what you need. It may come at an additional cost, but you'll never be left wondering if you're covered.
-
No, and this is important to us. Every visual element in your Series Compendium is designed by hand using professional design tools, licensed photography, and carefully sourced assets from independent creators. No AI-generated imagery. No synthetic illustrations. Nothing that compromises the integrity of your world or the creative community that surrounds it.
We never use AI to generate the visual assets that represent your series. Your Compendium is built by a human designer who genuinely loves this genre and takes the craft seriously.
-
Mostly just your imagination and your enthusiasm for your world. Once we've confirmed fit and reserved your studio window, you'll complete a detailed intake questionnaire that covers everything: your series, your vision, your inspirations, and the details that make your world feel real. No existing covers, logos, or brand assets required. We're building from the ground up.
-
You're actually in the best possible position. Building your visual identity before your first cover means every instalment launches with a cohesive, intentional look from day one. No retroactive rebranding. No cover one looking like it belongs to a completely different series than cover six.
-
The Worldmark Intensive is structured as two payments: 50% to reserve your studio window and 50% upon delivery of your Series Compendium. This keeps things simple and ensures your spot is secured before work begins.
-
Not as part of the Series Compendium, and that’s intentional. The Compendium designs the visual system your covers are built from: the typography, palette, and symbolic marks that give your cover designer (or you, if you’re designing your own) a clear, cohesive foundation to work within.
Cover design is available through Author Support, once your Series Compendium is complete. That’s the order that makes sense, I build your system first, so any cover I design afterward comes from a foundation that already exists, not one built from scratch for a single cover.
-
Absolutely, and that's exactly what The Series Compendium is built for. The Worldmark Codex gives your cover designer, VA, or any creative collaborator everything they need: fonts, colour values, element files, usage guidance and more. This helps them produce cohesive, on-brand work without needing a lengthy briefing every time.
-
That’s exactly what those checkpoints are for. Two rounds of revisions are built into the process, so nothing moves forward until it actually feels right. You’re never signing off on something you’re unsure about just to keep the week on schedule.
